About the Role

We require Marketing Coordinator to create and curate content that is enticing to our guests across all social media platforms. Maintain and generate partnerships and packages/offers with local operators. Manage trade shows, memberships, media visits and other related industry responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts.

  • Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives.

  • Planning and organizing promotional presentations.

  • Managing and coordinating Travel Blogger, Influencer and Media visits.

  • Managing all existing and future social media accounts for Skyridge brand.

  • Research and optimize future and existing social media platforms.

  • Generate and catalogue content.

  • Monitoring guest interactions on all platforms.

  • Assist General Manager and Front Desk Supervisor on media objectives.

  • Maintain and generate partnerships and packages/offers with local operators.

  • Manage trade shows, memberships, media visits and other related industry responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of all social media platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Photoshop (or another related platform).

  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, communication proficiency and time management.

  • Designing, producing, and implementing content strategy, copywriting and collaborating.

  • Photography and videography skills a plus.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in digital and social media management.

  • Previous experience in marketing for hospitality and/or real estate industry is considered an asset.

  • Must submit portfolio & resume.

Bonus and Incentives

In order to ensure the ongoing success of the resort, Skyridge offers performance-based bonuses and incentives to its employees and management.  

For example, Front Desk Agents incentives or prizes for generating reservations have increased overall revenue, avoided OTA commissions, and increased ADR. Incentives given to Housekeepers for perfect inspections from their supervisor. Retention bonuses are also utilized to ensure a strong stream of new employees and reward employees for referring like-minded friends to join our team. Managers will be provided with goals and objectives each year as part of their remuneration package. Bonuses will be based on achieving or exceeding these written goals.

Staff Housing

Skyridge Glamping offers staff accommodation within a 40 minute radius. Skyridge leases cottages at Ghost Lake Cottage Club and/or Canmore for it's staff housing needs.  Cost for a Private Room with En Suite bathroom is $20,50/day (limited availability). Cost for a Shared Room is $15.50/day (2 staff maximum). Kitchen, bathroom, and living room are shared amongst all staff. Each cottage will house no more than 6 staff members. Ghost Lake Cottage Club provides great amenities (club house, beaches, gym, hike trails, tennis & pickleball courts, gardens, etc.). This encourages a healthy lifestyle, help create great atmosphere and bond amongst co-workers, and offers the possibility to ride share to resort location.
